I print my limited edition images on heavy (typically 300 gsm or more) "fine-art" matte surfaces or canvas to preserve the color saturation as well as provide longevity of the image using the latest printing technology from Epson (Ultrachrome K3 Inks). I prefer to print the image on oversized paper to allow for ample mounting space around the image, eg., an 8X12 image is usually printed on a 13X19 paper; a 12X18 image is usually printed on a 17X22 paper. The largest size that I can personally print is the 16X24 size which will only allow a 1/2 inch border on the small dimension. Larger prints, available as open editions, are printed by a local lab. Larger prints (20X30, 24X36, etc.) are available on most images on request. My prints designated Duochrome appear to be B&W that contain some small portion of a subject in full color. Those designated Monochrome (MC) appear to be B&W but are actually color images that are monochromatic.--this is an attempt to match the look and feel of traditional B&W papers that were toned using Selenium or Sepia style toners . Those designated with a BW are true gray scale Black & White prints.
Each limited edition print is signed and number and is (typically) limited to 100 or fewer prints per 8X12, 50 or fewer prints per 12x18 and 25 prints or less per 16X24 regardless of the media used to print. Other sizes (up to 30X45 in some cases) are available as open editions upon special order.
