Frank Weston's Profile      View The Frank Weston Gallery

All of Frank Weston's limited edition fine art prints are made at a custom lab from a high resolution drum scan of the original image or a high resolution digital capture, then printed on a state-of-the-art LightJet 5000.  The image is then print on Fuji Crystal Archive or Kodak Endura matte paper to reduce glare and enrich the color of each fine art print. Each photographic print is a signed and numberd limited edition print. The total number of prints from any single image is usually limited to 100 prints.

Prints are available as a print only or matted print.

Prints Only:  Prints only are delivered rolled in protective box, signed and numbered, ready for mounting and framing. It is highly recommended that only archival mounts and mattes be used to preserve the life of your print.

Matted Prints:  Signed and numbered matted prints are carefully packaged and shipped flat. Each matted print comes with a single or double matte carefully selected to best enhance the beauty of the photograph. Only acid-free backing material and mattes are used to avoid image degradation.

Since professional framing is available in most areas, shipping unframed prints offers considerable savings in shipping costs. The weight and fragility of a frame and glass add considerably to packaging and shipping costs. Purchasing an unframed print also allows you to match the frame to your specific decor. It is strongly recommended that the photograph be matted and framed to suit your specific needs as soon as possible to preserve and protect this fine piece of art. To ensure the longevity of your fine art print, it should be matted and framed as described above.

When framed, UV protective glass should be placed over the photograph to reduce degradation from ultraviolet rays. Photographs should never be displayed in direct sunlight. Displayed in this way, the photograph will maintain its rich colors and detail for 100 years without visible degradation.
